Accelerating carbon removal in the tropics with dMRV

Our digital Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (dMRV) solution leverages cutting-edge technology to accurately track and validate carbon removal efforts. By applying biochar to soils we permanently remove CO2 for 1000+ years from the atmosphere. This supports people and food systems to prosper.

The story

Planboo sought an innovative dMRV solution to empower tropical landowners in generating verifiable carbon credits and additional income through sustainable practices.

Why it mattered

Within 5 months, we enabled the Planboo Team to seek further funding thanks to quick and rapid MVP development and certified carbon credits. For every tonne of biochar produced, two tonnes of CO2 were removed from the atmosphere while reducing the need for chemical fertilizer by improving soils, all while providing additional financial income for landowners in the tropics. This project exemplifies Think-it's commitment to leveraging technology for global sustainability, aligning with international efforts to achieve net-zero targets.
