The story

AWS wanted to create a simple, technical step-by step guide for anyone with ESG use-cases to build a minimal viable data space on top of AWS. ESG data refers to information about a company's Environmental, Social, and Governance practices, which is crucial for sustainable and responsible business operations. From our previous work together, they saw us as the technical experts to deliver it.

Think-it’s role

We worked with AWS and stakeholders at the Data Spaces Support Center to provide a step-by-step technical guide with concrete modules and materials. This included:

  • Verified and tested guide for implementing ESG data exchange.
  • A supporting video
  • A supporting webinar
  • Step-by-step instructions on integrating ESG data practices into existing AWS infrastructure.

Why it mattered

Data spaces are a niche and difficult technology to dive into. AWS now has a pattern they can send interested parties to ease the technical barrier to creating data exchange on top of AWS.

Implementing ESG data exchange offers numerous advantages, including improved transparency, better risk management, and enhanced stakeholder trust.
